Mary Gladys Bramblett

Mary Gladys Bramblett, age 93, of New Castle, formerly of Defoe, died Saturday, July 14, 2018 at New Castle Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born in Campbellsburg on March 4, 1925 to Bernie and Florence Lafollette Adams. She was a homemaker and a member of Eminence Christian Church.

She is survived by her daughter: Betty Parker (Richard) of San Antonio, Texas; a sister: Edith Tennill of New Castle; two grandchildren: Sheila Durham (Rick) of Lawrenceburg, and Lana Glover (Robert) of Louisville; six great-grandchildren: Nathan Durham, Whitney Durham, Natalie Durham, Maribeth Durham, Collen Glover and Heather Downey; and two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Rev. Thomas Minton, pastor of Eminence Christian Church will officiate. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8p.m. Tuesday, July 17, 2018 and from 10 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday. Interment will be in Eminence Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Robert Glover, Rick Durham, Nathan Durham, Wylia Durham, Brandon Durham, Tim Adams, and Tony Adams.
