Virginia S. Wells, age 82 of Pleasureville, KY Virginia S. Wells, age 82 of Pleasureville, died Thursday, October 17, 2013 at Homestead Nursing Center in New Castle. She was born in Louisville and was the daughter of the late Fred and Hazel Deihl Wells. She was a homemaker and was of the Catholic Faith. She is survived by four sons: David Wells of Corbin, Danny Wells of Pleasureville, Arthur Wells of Corbin, and Oscar Wells of Pleasureville; one sister: Norma Jean McCoy of Louisville; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Wells, one brother, and two sisters. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, October 19, 2013 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Rev. Andy Messamore, pastor of Pleasureville United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Point Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2013. Online condolences may be expressed at sholarfuneralhome.com.
