Connie Gail Bennett Stivers

Connie Gail Bennett Stivers, age 65 of Pleasureville (formerly of Bagdad), passed away Friday, October 22, 2021 at her residence. She was born February 22, 1956 to the late William Gobel Bennett, Sr. and Edna Lee Nelson Bennett. She worked in quality control at Martinrea Heavy Stamping in Shelbyville, and attended Pleasureville United Methodist Church.

She is survived by one daughter: Jennifer Gail Stivers of Shelbyville; two sisters: Nan Jordan of Elizabethtown and Shelia Stivers of Pleasureville; and three grandchildren: Rebecca Marlow, Michael Gray and Damian Gray.

She is preceded in death by siblings: Donna Bennett, William Bennett, Jr., Bobby Bennett, Ann Chisholm and Linda Bain.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at the Pleasureville United Methodist Church. Rev. Jesse Landers will officiate. Arrangements by Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville.
