Dailey Jaggers, Jr., age 86, of Pleasureville, passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2021 at University of Louisville Hospital Jewish Downtown Louisville. He was born July 26, 1934 to the late Dailey Jaggers and Mary Ollie Johnson Jaggers. He was a heavy-equipment operator for Hall Contracting, and was a member of Cropper Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers: Frank Jaggers and Benny Jaggers; and sisters: Willie Marr, Dorothy Sparrow, Georgie Hornback, Hazel Summit and Ella Harlow; and grandson: Justin Jaggers.
He is survived by his previous wife: Lillian Clark; two sons: John Dailey Jaggers of Pleasureville and Joel David Jaggers of Cropper; two daughters: Pam Faith Seaton (David) of Eminence and Lisa Hope Browning (Keith) of Cropper; one sister: Edith Cook of Lyndon; grandchildren: Earle Perry Jr., Lyrisa Perry, Amber Jaggers-Hancock, Kayla Jaggers-Hager, Megan Self, John Tyler Jaggers, Amy Jaggers, Hannah Jaggers, Samantha Mattingly, Kristopher Browning, Kaleb Browning and Kayleigh Browning, and ten great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, January 18, 2021 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Rev. Paul Briscoe will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2021 and from 12 noon until time of the services on Monday. Burial will be in Cropper Cemetery.
The pall bearers are Earle Perry Jr., Kaleb Browning, John Tyler Jaggers, Brennen Hancock, Mike Gilbert and Allen Craig.
