Ernest Leon Robinson

Ernest Leon Robinson, age 80, of Pleasureville, KY passed away at Frankfort Regional Medical Center on Saturday, November 11, 2023.  He was born on April 16, 1943, in Owen County, KY to the late Everett Samuel and Florence Eliza (Browning) Robinson. Leon was a member of Lockport Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He also served as pastor of United Baptist Church for 13 years. He was a retired corrections officer, a farmer, and a Vietnam Veteran in the United States Army serving as a Military Policeman in Germany.

Survivors include his wife; Lois Ann (Moore) Robinson, married December 16, 1967, one son; Timothy Allen Robinson (Lisa) of Pleasureville, KY, one brother; Harrison Robinson (Norma) of Eminence, KY, two grandchildren; Caleb Scott Robinson of Eminence, KY, and Brittani Elizabeth Robinson of Pleasureville, KY, and one great grandchild; Grayson A. Robinson. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother; Alva “Shorty” Robinson.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Sholar-Riley Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Briscoe officiating. Visitation will be on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, from 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. Burial will be in the Pleasureville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be John Welch, Dan Welch, Dwayne Barnett, Jeffrey Perry, James Ayres and Caleb Robinson.
