Esther Christopher Rearden

Esther Christopher Rearden, age 82 of Ashland died Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland. She was born on March 9, 1939 to the late Estell Christopher and Helen Downey Christopher. She worked as a homemaker most of her life.

Esther is survived by two sons: Edward Thomas Rearden Jr. (Ginny) of Ashland and Andrew Christopher Rearden of Ashland; one daughter: Vicki Rearden Brown (Malcolm) of Ashland; four grandchildren: Ashley Tussey, Edward Rearden III, Matthew Rearden and Rebecca Rearden; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Edward Thomas Rearden Sr.; one brother: Garnett Paul Christopher and one sister: Angela Doss.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Rev. Paul Briscoe will officiate. Burial will be in Lebanon Community Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, February 12, 2022 from 12 p.m. until time of the service.

Active pallbearers will be Matthew Rearden, Eddie Rearden, Ford Wilmouth, Shane Lewis, Charlie Clark and Joe Clark.
