Everett "Harrison" Robinson

Everett Harrison Robinson, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at the age of 88.  He was born in Fallis, Henry County, KY to Everett Samuel and Florence Eliza Browning Robinson.

Harrison was married to Norma Rae Dempsey Robinson for 68 years, who survives.  They faithfully worked together farming and in the family business.  He was the loving father to Sharon (Mike) Bright of Pleasureville, KY, Vickie Ireland of La Grange, KY and Kimberly Patterson of Eminence, KY.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, David Harrison Robinson and two brothers, Alva “Shorty” Robinson and Ernest Leon Robinson.  Harrison loved his grandchildren, Chad Bright, Lori Foster, Kiristen Webb, John Bright, Ashley Ireland, Amanda Stoess, Hannah Bright Hughes and Gavin Robinson.  He adored his great grandchildren, Hazel Foster, Ezra Webb, Maven Webb, Emerson Webb, Jonathan Stoess, Sydney Stoess, Hadley Bright and Marshall Bright.

Harrison was co-owner of Robinson Brothers Farm Equipment for 53 years.  He served the farming community by repairing farm equipment and sold Oliver, White and Massey-Ferguson equipment.  He retired from the business after it burned in March 2015.  He also farmed for eight years in Franklinton, KY.  A faithful member of Lockport Baptist Church, Harrison also enjoyed playing softball, bowling, golfing and pulling tractors.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 24, 2024 at the Sholar-Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Briscoe officiating.  Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. – 7:00 P.M., Friday, February 23, 2024 and Saturday, February 24, 2024, Noon - 2:00P.M., at the funeral home.  Interment will be in the Pleasureville Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Chad Bright, John Bright, Gavin Robinson, Tim Robinson, Wes Stoess and Bennett Moore.
