Harvey Preston, Jr.

Harvey Preston, Jr., age 58, of Pleasureville, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at his residence. He was born November 30, 1962 to Harvey Preston, Sr. and Mary Lee Burgin Preston in Shelbyville. He worked in construction and tree trimming. In addition, he was a member of Crossroads Lighthouse Church in Eminence and attended Bethesda Church of God in Finchville.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife: Audrey Lee Preston of Pleasureville; five sons: Jason Preston of Smithfield, Raymond Preston (Leah) of Dry Ridge, Daniel Berry of Smithfield, Willie Goble of Peoria, Illinois and Steven Derossett; two sisters: Becky Long (Wayne) of Smithfield and Libby Raisor of Pleasureville; two brothers: Greg Preston (Sally) of Pleasureville and Carl Preston (Marion) of La Grange and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Monday, April 19, 2021 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Bro. Nathan Shaw and Bro. Paul Harvey will officiate. Burial will be in Point Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, April 18, 2021 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. and 11a.m until time of the service on Monday.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Preston, Hyboo, Kaitlin Raisor and Daniel Berry. Casket bearers will be Travis Preston, Timmy Cox, Brandon Preston, Bruce Preston, Michael Long, Dillion Preston, Johnathan Raisor and Brent Raisor.
