James Thomas Baker, age 86 of Pleasureville James Thomas Baker, age 86 of Pleasureville died Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at his residence. He was born in Winchester, KY and was the son of the late Oscar and Bertha Christopher Baker. He was a retired tool and die setter at General Electric in Louisville, a U.S. Army Veteran of both World War II and the Korean Conflict. His military decorations include three Bronze Stars, a Victory Medal, and a Korean Service Medal. He was a member of Pleasureville Baptist Church, and a 51-year member of Solomon Masonic Lodge #5 in Shelbyville. He is survived by his son: James Alan Baker (Teresa) of Eminence; one grandchild: Sandra Lucas (Jeremy); two step-grandchildren: Jennifer West and Kelli Fetter; one step-great grandchild: Raeleigh West; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Bramlette Baker. Funeral services scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 4, 2012 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville with Rev. Jerry Anderson of Pleasureville Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in Pleasureville Cemetery. Masonic Services scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday August 3, 2012.
