In loving memory of Joan Dale (Jones) Snider, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandmother, friend. Joan was born on September 6, 1941, to Robert and Laura Leslie (Mahoney) Jones, in Franklinton, Henry County, KY, and peacefully passed away on April 18, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare Hospice, in Edgewood, Kenton County, KY.
Joan led a diverse and fulfilling life. She dedicated herself to caring for her family as a devoted housewife, showcased her work ethic as a former rural mail carrier, and formerly worked at a greenhouse in Shelbyville. Her commitment to her various roles exemplified her steadfast nature and unwavering dedication.
Joan leaves behind cherished memories for her surviving family members. She is survived by three sons; James Anthony Snider of Waddy, KY, Timothy Scott Snider (Melissa) of Lockport, KY and Stewart Wade Snider (Cathy) of Lockport, KY, her sister Pam Hopewell of Lawrenceburg, KY, her brother Bobby Jones of Campbellsburg, KY, nine grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; James Edward Snider and her sister; Pat Smith.
A Celebration of Life service to honor Joan's remarkable journey will be held on April 27th, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM at Lockport Baptist Church located at 128 Six Mile Creek Road in Lockport, KY, with Rev. Paul Briscoe officiating. Friends and family are invited to gather and commemorate her life.
Joan will be remembered not only for her hard work but also for her generosity, kindness, and unwavering love for her family. Her legacy will live on through the memories shared by those who were fortunate enough to know her.
