Leonard Dale, Jr
Mr. Leonard Dale, Jr. of Frankfort, Franklin County, KY, passed away on April 9, 2024, at the University of Kentucky Bluegrass Hospice Center. He was born on April 7, 1939, to the late Leonard Clayton Dale, Sr. and Ethel Mae (Hamilton) Dale in Lockport, Henry County, KY.
Leonard dedicated many years of his life working as a press operator for Bendix/Allied Signal in the heavy brake division. His commitment and passion for his work left a lasting impact on all those who had the pleasure of working alongside him.
Outside of his career, Leonard had a variety of hobbies and interests that brought him immense joy. He had a deep love for hunting, fishing, and playing musical instruments such as the guitar and violin. His creative spirit shone through in his music and outdoor pursuits.
In his family life, Leonard will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by his surviving loved ones. He is survived by his beloved wife of 57 years, Anna Bell (Hance) Dale of Frankfort, KY; sons Scott C. (Crystal) Dale and Ted J. Dale, both of Frankfort, KY; brother Frank Dale of Eminence, KY; sister Ida Beverly of Lockport, KY; six grandchildren: Chadwick Dale, Andrew Dale, Tre' Childers, Ellie Lewis, Lilly Dale and Taylor Childers; six great-grandchildren and a host of other relative and friends. Together with their extended family and friends, they will cherish the memories of Leonard's life and find solace in the impact he made during his time with them.
Leonard is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Clayton Dale and a sister Clara Downey.
Mr. Leonard Dale, Jr.'s legacy will continue to live on through the love he shared with those around him and the memories he created throughout his lifetime. May he rest in peace.
