Mary Madgelene O'Brien

Mary Madgelene O'Brien, age 88, of Bethlehem, KY passed this life at her residence on Saturday, June 29, 2024.  She was born in Lockport, Henry County, KY on March 18, 1936 to David and Cordia Cox O'Brien.  Mary was a member of Lockport Methodist Church and a caregiver to her family for many years.  She had previously worked alongside her Brother at Eugene O'Brien's Salvage Yard.

She is survived by her cousin and caregiver; David and Kim Fitzgerald of Bethlehem and their children, Sinsarah Fitzgerald, Kayci Fitzgerald, Mayci Fitzgerald and Makynna Downey and also their grandchildren.  Also surviving is a niece; Judy Hall of Frankfort, Ky and her daughter Angie. Mary is preceded in death by her parents, an infant sister and nine brothers; Guthrie, Eugene, Tom, Charile, John, Kenneth, Ross, James and David (Jr.) O'Brien.

Serving as pallbearers will be: Scotty Fitzgerald, Robby Wentworth, Ashton Wentworth-Fitzgerald, Phillip Brown, Steven Brown and Johnathan Mertz.  Honorary pallbearers will be: David Fitzgerald, Gavin Wentworth and Brantley Owens.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Sholar-Riley Funeral Home.  Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. til 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at the funeral home.  Burial will be in the Pleasureville Cemetery.
