Willena Barnsfather Coombs

Willena Barnsfather Coombs, age 90, of Smithfield, died Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at New Castle Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in New Castle. She was born May 8, 1926 in Pleasureville, and was the daughter of the late James and Rena Bush Barnsfather. She was a homemaker and farmer, and belonged to Smithfield Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son: Frank H. Coombs, Jr. (and wife Nadine) of Smithfield; one grandchild: Jessica Neeley (and Husband Glenn) of New Castle; and two great-grandchildren: Blake Neeley and Mark Neeley, both of New Castle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Henry Coombs, Sr.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday, March 6, 2017, at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville. Services will be officiated by Rev. Bo Irvin and Chad Potts, of the Smithfield Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2017 and from 11 a.m. until time of service on Monday. Burial will be in Smithfield Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Blake Neeley, Shane Barnsfather, Dennis Coombs, Richard Coombs, Guy Coombs, Curtis Coombs, and Justin Coombs.
